Life on the Ranch

Brent accepted a baling job near Swan Valley. There are about 350 acres of dry farm hay that needed baled. The owners agreed to provide lodging for us up in one of their guest ranch cabins. So for the past week, we've been living on the ranch. (Okay, not entirely because we've had to come home for a few other committments in between.) From the minute we got there, Hudson has loved Granite Creek Ranch. granitecreekranch.com They have 21 horses, 4 kittens, 2 dogs, swings, dirt, and mud so there's plenty for him to see and explore. We stayed in a little one room rustic cabin. During our stay we've hiked, ridden Rusty the horse, played with the kittens, and swung on the rope swing in the barn. The ranch is nestled in the pines at the base of the mountain. It is gorgeous. They have their own small lake to add to the ambiance. I dream of one day having my bed and breakfast close by. Life on the ranch has been good.
